The multi-color nature
of the Bmuse Custom Mixes produces a dimensional marble effect
when mixed with UTEE making them a wonderful addition to your
melting pot. In one afternoon you can make dozens of unique
charms and embellishments for all your art projects. |
The embellishments above were
created using clear UTEE and Bmuse
Shimmering Sherbet embossing powder. This combination
creates a marbled terra cotta color. The variations in color
are a result of the powders becoming more combined. You will
get the most distinct variations with your first molds or
pours. As you make additional items (or remelt some errors)
the powders combine and the color changes to the soft sand
color you see in the square face and the goddess charms. I
first melted the clear UTEE then added the Shimmering Sherbet
and allowed it to completely melt before beginning to pour
the mixture into the molds or spoon out the disks. Molds for
the mummy, goddess and faces can be purchased at Backyard
Cards & Gifts along with dozens of other great soft
molds which can also be used for polymer clay.

The embellishments above were created using
clear Black UTEE and German
Silver embossing powder. This combination creates rich
aged metallic texture and marbling. Again variations in color
are a result of the powders becoming more combined. The mummy
and face on the top left were the first molds I did and the
goddess and lower left face were towards the end. I first
melted the black UTEE then added the German Silver and allowed
it to completely melt before beginning to pour the mixture
into the molds or spoon out the disks. Molds for the mummy,
goddess and faces can be purchased at Backyard
Cards & Gifts along with dozens of other great soft
molds which can also be used for polymer clay. |

The embellishments above were created using White UTEE and Aspen
Autumn embossing powder. This combination creates strong
contrast aged gold color and marbling. Again variations in
color are a result of the powders becoming more combined,
in this case the mummy on the left was poured first with just
small amount of the Aspen Autumn, after doing some disks I
added more of the Aspen Autumn and then poured the mummy on
the right. The mold for the mummy can be purchased at Backyard
Cards & Gifts along with dozens of other great soft
molds which can also be used for polymer clay. |

The embellishments above were created using
White UTEE and Bmuse
Pale Emerald embossing powder. This combination begins
looking like white stone with moss and bits of metallic bronze
and as it mixes more becomes a soft sage color. Molds for
the Chinese coin, goddess and face are from Backyard Cards
& Gifts. The shell shaped embellishment on the right was
created by pouring directly onto a texture stamp. |

The embellishments above were
created using clear UTEE and Bmuse
Holiday Wreath embossing powder. The scan just does not
do this justice, my favorite so far, the effect ranges from
tigers eye gemstones to aged bronze to highly polished ebony
on the large face. Molds for the Chinese coin and faces are
from Backyard Cards & Gifts. |
