How to make this 4x4 Asian puzzle collage.
Begin by coloring entire puzzle with
brown watercolor crayon, use baby wipe to spread color as water
will soak and and warp chipboard puzzle. Spray lightly with
workable fixative to seal. To make center piece trace puzzle piece
on Red Chinese Envelope,
cut out and glue to puzzle piece. Attach Chinese coin and ribbon.
Emboss Asian symbols on middle top and bottom pieces with other
assorted Asian ephemera. For left and right sides trace and cut
pieces from the Asian Art Panels
collage sheet #1. Cut out and attach Chinese
Fan to lower right corner. In upper left corner punch hole and
use brad to attach beads and fibers. Add words cut from Chinese
Cookie Fortunes on middle puzzle pieces.
And, remember this is just one example in an infinite number of themes, create your own puzzle in whatever manner inspires you.
